Teacher – Design Thinking & Prototyping

Teaching Innovation & Prototyping and Design thinking fulltime at X11 High School in Utrecht. A subject developed at X11 focused on teaching vmbo kids design thinking and creative coding.

Students worked on concept-based assignments in whichever design discipline they wanted to explore through the double diamong design thinking process.
This could mean 3D-printing, animation, creative coding, interactive tinkering, paper-prototyping, etc.

Guiding the individual development of the student finding the right combination between their interests and their creative work using the design cycle.

Within the team I also developed a lesson plan on virtual reality and creative coding using the new Micro:bit.
